Amber Valley Shooting Club (Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S42 6AZ) --
Amber Valley Shooting Club was established around 1966 by a group of like minded men who enjoyed helping farmers control the vermin/pests around their farms in and around Derbyshire. These days the club has evolved into a thriving rough shooting and clay pigeon shooting club with something for everyone interested in shotgun shooting. There are approximately 26 farms for members to shoot the land. Fox drives are also one of our regular activities during autumn and winter. Our clay pigeon shooting ground is in regular use as we have our club shoot 2nd Sunday every month where everyone is welcome, even beginners who have never shot before as we hold an exemption from the local police to carry on this activity. Charity clay pigeon shoots are also held regularly throughout the year.
