ADD NEW SPORTS CLUB

Madeley Badminton Club (Madeley, Telford, Shropshire, TF7 5HX) -- We are a friendly but competitive club meeting every Wednesday at Abraham Darby sports centre, 7.15-9.15pm. We play with feathers and it is £7 per session. We play to a good standard so it is important that potential new players are able to maintain that standard. Especially in regard to: Your understanding of the rules of badminton such as scoring, etiquette etc. Your ability to maintain a rally and move around the court in doubles with a partner Your understanding of the basic positioning in men’s, ladies and mixed doubles play Visitors are assessed based on the above and are able to play for up to three sessions after which, if they successfully meet the criteria, they can apply for membership. Due to numbers, we are unable to accept players who turn up without prior agreement so please message us if you would like to attend.
