Kent Land Yacht Club (New Romney, Kent, TN28 8RN) --

Marsh Badminton Club (New Romney, Kent, TN28 8BB) -- Our club is no longer operating from 2018. Marsh Badminton Club was founded in 2009 by Simon Tse - a Maths teacher and Andre Double - a PE teacher of the Marsh Academy. It has over 30 members from Romney Marsh, Ashford and Folkestone. In 2012, we invited Péter Zsoldos from Hungary as our Visiting Head Coach who has over 9 years of coaching experience and a Level 3 coaching qualification. He is now Head Coach of the Nottingham Badminton Performance Centre. We practise on Saturday. On a Monday, we recommend only the advanced junior players to attend the Adult club night, otherwise it is only open to adults. We have a four-court hall and equipped with the Knight Trainer shuttle machine and an electronic stringing machine. Some of our players play in the French league and we have well-established links with several badminton clubs in the Pas de Calais department.
